dez dickerson was a extraordinarily great guitar in prince's band. if u listen to any of prince's tours from the dirty mind tour to 1999 tour. dez's guitar solos sounded very futuristic.any feedback?

Dez was definitely the "go to guy". I loved his playing but his attitude was so cool back then. Also he was part of the "group" Prince and, not Prince and the band. Great times.

I love his background vocals on Prince's stuff

I think he is in Nashville now at his own studio?

His Christian solo CD "OneMan" was pretty decent.

Is that good or bad? I liked the song but have heard people talk about it like it had herpes!

It is what it is. A throw away song IMO. Just like his never-was solo career. Funny how these cats always turn to "god" after their career stalls. Maybe Vanity and Dez could do an duet album of Christian hymns.
