a great band with a lead vocalist who's voice and song-writing skills were vastly underated.
Prince inspired,but had something quite original about his sound.
3 albums then they split, what a crime!!

I love this band!!! Live they rock really darn hard and of course they had a song called Rainbow Child. Damn ill have to dig the Slam album out..

Dan Reed went on to become a bit of an accomplished actor. Now he runs one of the hippest clubs on the West Coast, Club Ohm. http://www.clubohm.com/ Prince’s formor live sound Engineer, Billy Triplet design the sound system at Club Ohm and often mixes live there. Dan, as well as other former members of the Dan Reed Network, are still producing and performing music. Dan’s current band is Odyssey, mainly an Electronica band, but often a hybrid of Electronica and ethnic percussion.
