A few of you know, from threads in 2009/2010, I'm good friends with Adele, and as far as I'm aware, the five year thing in a load of bollocks. She is loved up with Simon, and the time off with the throat gave her a chance to get back to the real world.
I spoke to her a couple of weeks ago and she was looking forward to getting back to work.

First off....what is wrong with most of you people?????
Adele is extremly talented and a great singer!!!! This CD is awesome!
Not some BS pop-shit-hop crap but a real singer singing real songs!!!!
HELLOOOOOOOOO!!!
Well i'm glad she reverted on her position and will be back in the studio soon...
Adele is a great talent and I for one (and maybe the only one on the org) look forward to hearing more from this incredible singer.

nothing wrong with us but her voice gets on my nerves but I will admit she is a way better singer than Rihanna or Beyonce
23 and knows nothing about love or the music industry
but her boyfriend is lucky!! |

I sense a bit of jealousy from our Militant there. aww, poor kitten.
Adele is one of our best singers. There really should be no debate on this. Some things just are.
I thought she was going to tour?
None whatsoever. I just don't like her vocal style or tone and her songs do nothing for me. And, from a quick read of the thread there are others who agree. It's called an opinion, which I am entitled to, and that doesn't make me jealous.
I'm happy for her success, wish her the best etc.... but I personally find her incredibly dull. That OK with you? |

How did Ohio Players and Mint Condition dominate the music industry?
The Ohio Players did exactly that for a 3 year period from 1974-1977
with 5 albums and 1 greatest hits album.
As for Adele i've listened and she's just not my cup of tea. [Edited 2/17/12 19:44pm] Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint |
