New B.Slade: "Famished"

B.Slade has released a taste of the upcoming secret project, "Knowing".

After the passing of Whitney, he wanted to release this for a limited time in her honor before the final version is finished and released, which, in its final form, is reportedly going to be MUCH different than what you hear now.

One of the tracks of note is the song "Famished"

Produced by former NPG member Kip Blackshire.

Peep it HERE

I never thought in this day and age of 5-year gaps between albums, projects continually falling apart or pushed back, and flighty recording artists, that I'd almost have to ask an artist to slow down his output. LOL.

But, seriously, it's great, and impressive that he can not only put out an album a minute, but that there is consistent quality. He must LIVE in the studio.

Does this guy make a new album every other month? Seriously i've only known about him for less than 6 months and I thinkhe has had 3 albums out during that time. Anyway, I do like the track. It sounds hot!

A lot of the tracks on the new albums are redux from early 2000's it seems.

They're not. Only "Stereotype" (which most goes back to about 2006-2007, only the first track was from around the time it was released in January 2010) and some songs on the compilation albums "The Children" and "Songs O' Lament" are from his earlier archives. "Stereotype" was pulled in 2006-2007 (after numerous submissions) because his label at the time thought it was too far-removed from gospel, as its intention was to be a crossover album. He released it in a different configuration in 2010 as a thank you to the fans who kept asking for the album.

Everything else is newer. "The Parking Lot, " "Dawn O' the UNiCORN", A Brilliant Catastrophe" (both albums), "Diesel", "Stealth", and "Knowing" is all 2010-present.

From what I know, he tends to record in the moment, for the most part.

I don't know about that. I have all of his released stuff on cd from way back and quite a few of these tracks are sounding familiar. I'll have 2 check this out when I get a chance.
