Chris Gaines ~ Lost In You You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

This tune sounds like the smooth late 1970's light rock. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

There are a lot of great songs on that record. It really got lambasted because there was no context to it (it was supposed to be the soundtrack for a movie, but the movie was never filmed, so it just seemed like Garth had lost it). Really shows how much of an artist Garth Brooks really is.

^^Paul McCartney has released records under other names like "Percy Thrillington" & "The Fireman".
