Classic Stevie with the whole half step up on the final verse. Actually the whole track sounds like a Wonderlove production to these ears, especially the bass playing, which sounds like a moog. At this point in history, we have a choice to make

It's ironic that the Miracles w/Smokey had pretty much let other people write songs for them prior to Smokey leaving only to write songs again after Billy Griffin joined... they were the only Motown act allowed to write more than one song together (mainly because of Smokey) but all of them contributed to writing songs with the exception (obviously) of Claudette. | |
