I've heard it said several times, "he's on pineapple records" or that mess is "pineapple records".

What does this mean? I've heard it said about Ciara mostly and maybe a little bit about Janet and most recently Fantasia and Bow Wow. Ciara isn't signed I don't believe.

Is this a diss? Google also brought up Coconut Records, Banana Records, and Mango Records and these are all actual record companies.
