The fact that Chris Brown won in a R&B category over R. Kelly should let everyone know that this show is a fixed popularity contest. It has nothing to do with music. |

Totally agree. Chris is cute and can dance but he's NOT A SINGER. Totally ridiculous indeed.... Trolls be gone! |

The fact that Beyonce and Kanye has 16 grammys tells us this show is not about music... we know.

It seems like each year the industry shows how it's more of a business than about the music.
The way they cut most of the categories out and specifically chose certain categories to be televised. It's all business.
Funny how Best R&B Album was televised this year but wasn't last year.... The Grammy founder or president encouraging that Chris Brown deserves a second chance days before the show. Fixed. Fixed. Fixed. |

He won by default. R. Kelly hasn't had much support from the Grammys in years. Chris was the only other high-profile name. I knew once it was gonna be televised I wasn't gonna see El, Kelly, or Ledisi walking up to the stage. |

Yeah I already knew they were gonna give it to Chris before they announced the winner. Looking at his expression, he knew he was gonna win it too. I wasn't outraged or nothing. It is what it is. El or Kels wasn't even at the show anyways. |

Kelly was in the audience too, they showed her clapping when they were reading the nominees. I had thought she permanently switched to gospel music. |

R. Kelly has been nominated for each of his releases so he always had their support. Chris won because he's a younger act and more "current". It's evident he was going to win based on the other nominees. They threw R. Kelly in because of his credibility in the industry but other then that it was bound to be handed to Chris. This is all geared to a "comeback" for Chris Brown. It's all fixed. |

El didn't go? I know Kellz was invited and his seat was actually near the front row but he didn't show up. I don't blame him. |

I remember talented people winning back in the day. The Grammys used to be considered authentic a long time ago. |

Adele wins 6 Grammys, including album of the year
By NEKESA MUMBI MOODY | Associated Press – 1 hr 55 mins ago
LOS ANGELES (AP) — With six awards, Adele has matched Beyonce for most Grammy wins in a night by a female act.
Adele's six wins Sunday night include album, record and song of the year. Beyonce set the record two years ago.
Adele was shaking as she won album of the year, almost in tears as she held the award.
Adele's "21" was 2011's best-selling album. It's sold more than six million units in the United States.
She yelled at the end of her speech: "Thank you so much!"
