What exactly is the difference between the Like A Prayer version and the 7" remix other than the beginning?

not much difference, actually. you have to listen very closely to know the difference. it's just mixed a little differently, and there is some different stuff going on in the backround, possibly including what might be the addition of a calliope lol

it's hard to describe really. it's basically just a little more punchy.

What!!!! It was released in Late 1990, Rain is from the early 90s (Erotica or Bedtime Stories) and Frozen dates from 1998. What is she a psychic!!!!

Thats like Black Sweat appearing on the Hits/Bsides

Rococo has brain rot lol

truly no reason for you, rdhull, to be crass. i mean this is a friendly converstation about madonna and greatest cds. i think i'll re clarified my statement. i said the best greatest hit album would include frozen and rain..that is my personal opinion. there is no reason to get catty, i mean really. however if thats how you tend to communicate then i guess i understand. some people can't communicate without being negative.

well I'm old enough and it was the 7" remix that garnered most of the airplay when the song was a new single. not the remix. after The Immaculate Collection, that was equally as popular, but mostly because it was 30 seconds shorter and many radio stations replaced their entire Madonna rotation with that album.

the original remix just wasn't that popular on the radio.

And you "know" this because you listened to every radio station in the country. Right.

I guess the DJs in my area had better taste than yours, because I'm also old enough to remember what I heard on the radio. shrug

A version of Shep's 1st remix was used for the video, the Blond Ambition Tour, The Immaculate Collection, and Celebration. Keep telling yourself it isn't the definitive version. comfort
