To Keep Sealed or Unseal, This Is The Question [img:$uid]http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/gowes/BrotherSylversRecords012.jpg[/img:$uid]

My old new stock Sylvers II album arrived today in the mail, along with some other 45's Slyvers of course. For the first time in 'me' life, I'm not sure I wanna break the plastic seal on the album and play it. My orignial copy is in fine shape just a little pop on the first side, "We Can Make It If We Try".
I'm just up here looking at the damn thing.

Don't break it. Especially if you have a good quality/exact copy. You may have use of it on a rainy day and need it. Or you may have a problem with the existing copy you have and will want to open it at another time. How much did you have to pay for this little treasure? Scratch that tacky question.

What was your intention when you bought it?

Primarily I'm a collector of all thing Sylvers, including the variations of Special Disc Jockey and consumer 45 rpm's of the songs released from the Sylvers I, II, III albums. Plus the albums. I never don't play my collection... so i was thinking a loud what I wanted to do.

Keep it sealed. You may need rent money one day.

one should never say never.... but nah that's a nonissue at this juncture. gotta find some wood to knock on. Yeah, I probably keep it sealed.

I have a sealed vinyl copy of Earth Wind and Fire's 'Spirit' album. It comes with the bonus promo 45 that was included with the first pressings of that album.I'm not gonna open it.I like to keep things like this unsealed....I treat it like a collector's item
