I'm a Madonna hater, but i gotta admit, this song is quite good.

It's a fun, catchy pop song. I am starting to get sick of the sight of Nicki Minaj, the bitch is everywhere at the mo'.

Yall fans actually LIKE this song? Be honest (with yourselves).

Im a huge fan but this shit..just no.

For some reason this makes me want to revisit Hard Candy and give it the appreciation I never did.

I hope the rest of the album makes up for this cotton candy boolshet.

Well i'm no Madge fan ... but i've always like her style and she makes good pop music .... lets get real people she's never been a hard core lyricist .... all her stuff is basic "cotton candy" ... damn it's pop music for F*** sake .... at least GaGa can learn some lessons ...she gonna off the boil with some of her new stuff!

And Britney was just a plain fake ..... Christina had the voice but no style or character to push it...

So it's just Newbie Katy Perry and Lady GaGa fighting it out for Madges crown......

And you know what ...... after seeing the video twice .... They have a hell of a job ahead of them:-D

I enjoyed the song much more the second time I watched the video...pretty catchy pop song..chorus does stick in your head...not sure Nicki or MIA really add anything to the song...but it will be a hit...

It seems to me she's more interested in trying to look good and score a hit by any means possible rather than trying to create something innovative, fresh, original, and progressive.

It's funny how she brought the word REDUCTIVE into the conversation since that word completely describes the current stage of her career.

Definetly beats anything other than Miles Awaya and 4 Minutes on Hard Candy that's for sure. One of her best hooks in awhile too.

V10LETBLUES

I am neither a Madonna fan nor hater. I admire Madonna for a lot of things, her business smarts, her wit and her cool. To me her music has always been high quality pop music. Her music is not my thing but I could appreciate it just the same for what it was. It just is not geared to my demographic.

So with that said, my review for this song it that is sounds like great kid and radio friendly pop, but I am surprised at how mediocre the video is. Madonna has always been know for her great smart videos. This one is surprisingly bad.

Much props to Madonna for keeping herself up as well as she has, For a 53 year old woman, she looks pretty hot. I though for sure she would look like Paula Deen by now.

nod There really is no more ground for her to break.Nobody in pop music is doing anything that hasn't already been done before.I certainly don't expect Madonna to re-invent the wheel everytime she makes a new album.

The video is very cute and fun and Madonna looks pretty damn amazing for 53 - her hair is absolutely fabulous!

MIA is gorgeous and Nicki Massage was even there doing all those facial contortions that always make me think she's having a seizure....that was the most dressed I've seen that trick ever so thank you Madonna for making her cover that fake ass of hers; 'ppreciate it! wink Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out why they were needed in the video because they really didn't add anything to it in the end; but, that's Madonna in recent years. She's been using current pop stars as mere props for a while now...remember that VMA performance and the '4 Minutes' video? Did you really care about her guest stars after the first minute....be honest now; you didn't; because Madonna is all that really mattered...just sayin'

Now for the song....uh yeah that song is below mediocre let's be honest. It's not terrible but it's damn sure not good. There's nothing about it that is really worth remembering for me. Honestly, I think the only reason this song will hit number one is simply because it's Madonna...doesn't hurt that she'd doing the Superbowl halftime show one bit either. In all honesty though, I think that she could record a song with her snoring and clearing her throat over a hot beat and use the chorus, 'Snoozing, Slumbering, napping on rugs/Sleeping is one of my favorite drugs/Dream; Dream for free/Dream; just Dream (of me)'...seriously; many of her fans would think it was better than a sunny day at the beach and make it go to number one...loyalty is a beautiful thing indeed nod . Like someone above stated, she shouldn't be getting a pass for mediocre music just because she's Madonna and I agree 100% with that from any artist whether they've been around for 50 years or 5 months. A weak song is a weak song to me; I don't care who's name is stamped across it. Many people can talk shit about Katy Perry all they want to but her lyrics are waay better than what I just heard from the Queen of Pop on this song and that's pretty damn sad.

In saying that, I see why she released this song as a lead single...it's radio-friendly and a catchy ear worm that is definitely gonna sell big and get that new album to debut at the number one spot. The woman is a genius when it comes to business and marketing and that's why I will never count her out. She'll debut at number one on the singles charts and albums charts for sure, but unlike Ms. Adele, I don't believe she'll be staying in the top 5 for very long. Debuting high is cool but staying in the top 5 for 48 of its 49 weeks like Adele's '21' has done is a million times better and means a whole lot more at the end of the day IMO. For an artist who's on a very small, independent label to have her sophomore album pull those types of numbers and her not having to prance around in booty shorts, be overly sexual, and actually sing songs with substance and no club banger beats is beyond amazing in this day and age.. She's sold over 17 million copies worldwide as of January of this year...now that's a true feat in my eyes whether you like her or not. Hopefully, the rest of MDNA has better offerings this this lead single. All just my twocents

Well to be fair, Adele is a completely different animal. And comparing someone's hot second album to one by someone who's been one of the most famous people in the world for 30 years is like comparing apples and oranges. Let's see what Adele is up to in 30 years. No disrespect to her, as I like her a lot, but she's on her "Like A Virgin" as far as career trajectories go ... if you know what I mean.

Another thing I cant get over is the difference between this image Madonna now has compared to the Music era. She was simply a Goddess to the masses in 2000/2001 despite not even trying to give off that image. She was hard, cold and serious (exception being the Music video) but everyone loved her then and she just reeked cool.

It actually is really amazing seeing the evolution of Madonna as much as I havent really loved it over the last decade. What I do love though is the Marilyn Madonna of this film clip. Its like I was seeing the old Madonna again.
