Oops. Must have you mixed up with someone else. I coulda sworn once you said in reference to her,"Different doesn't always mean good".

Then again that might've been in reference to Janelle.

It was in reference to Janelle.

I like Janelle but in the context of that particular reference, it was pertaining to declaring her last CD as instant classic R&B. I think Janelle has a great voice but can't seem to find a hook to save her life. Vocal melodies have ALWAYS been a centerpoint to classic R&B and I don't think any of her songs are "instant classics" (yet). She certainly has the capacity to make some but IMO, she hasn't done so yet.

M.I.A. is far less talented than Janelle but some of her songs are very catchy. With M.I.A., I usally really like the song (like "Come Around") or I hate it (like "Boys"). I like this new one.

why would you have 2 guest rappers on your song and give both of them only 12 seconds?

the raps are over before they even start. and nikki's rap is just, i don't know. meh. m.i.a.

does better but i like just about every single song of her's better than this rap.

strange song. parts of m's vocal melody, i really like. they remind me of fun uptempo stuff

on her older albums. like 'dear jessie' etc. but the cheerleader bit puts me off to no end.

oh well, with 18 tracks on the album, we can always delete one ourselves smile

here's to hoping that the orbit stuff is indeed more dark and introspective with some real

lyrics and some more interesting sounds.

as a lead off single to an album, i can see why they went with this. it will probably do well

on radio. everything i don't like does well on radio smile let's hope the album has a bit more

to offer than just radio friendly fluff.

I think the way Madonna is presenting this is smart actually. Even if opinion on the song/video is varied, won't change that it might sell.

oh i agree completely. i would not be surprised at all if this hits #1. we can say what we want

about her but at the end of the day, she understands how the show runs like no other.

oh no, think I've found my first guilty pleasure of the year!. Plays to her 80's sound, fun video with great tie in to the superbowl and the start of a very slick campaign. Good luck to her, fuck she's a ledgend and can do WTF she wants now!.

Wow! All of this aggressive promotion is really paying off thumbs up!

Madonna's 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' video premieres everywhere [Video]

Madonna-video
The music video for Madonna's new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" premiered Friday, just two days before the singer's much-hyped Super Bowl halftime show (where's she's expected to perform the song live). And if you haven't seen the clip yet, Clear Channel is doing its best to ensure you won't be able to get away from it.

In the video, which also features Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and a host of anonymous (possibly robotic) football players, Madonna tosses aside the accouterments of motherhood and morphs into the late-1980s/early-1990s version of herself, with white lingerie and short blonde hair. The rest of the video is lighter in tone and slightly more whimsical than is usual for Madonna, with Minaj and M.I.A. cheering her on with cheerleader pompoms.

The song, which appears on Madonna's upcoming album, "MDNA," debuted simultaneously on 95 Clear Channel-owned radio stations across the country, as well as additional stations in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. at the same time Friday morning. And the plan is for many of those stations to play the song at the top of every hour through the weekend.

Don't listen to regular radio? Well, you're not getting away from Madonna that easily. Clear Channel is using its network of outdoor digital billboards to play the video in full in "highly visible" locations in New York City, Las Vegas, Paris, London, Oslo and Helsinki.

Additionally, 1,600 smaller Clear Channel billboards in subway stations, malls and bars will be playing the video all weekend.

And the video is also widely available in all the usual spots online.

And of course she'll be on the most-watched TV event of the year on Sunday.

People of Earth, bow before Madonna!

disbelief lol dear, dear me...

Comments:

-crappy song. I would say this is a vomit mixture of the most annoying elements from Toni Basil, Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry. Only preteens, Madonna stans, and the zombie portion of the population who end up buying/liking whatever song they hear repeatedly on the radio will think this is a good song. This will likely become a hit, but only because of the great marketing campaign by the label/clearwater. The song will sell only because of Madonna's name, much like Shitney's songs in the last few years that had no business becoming hits disbelief Such is the status of pop music though...

-I actually thought we'd hear more from Nicki and MIA but they get cameos only. Madonna is back to singing in that nasally tone she started out with.

-the video is filled with gimmicks from the gimmick queen of course. OMG!!1111!!111 football, cheerleaders and chanting paired with her upcoming superbowl performance?? SO CREATIVE!!!1111!!!!11 This is certainly effective and logical imagery, but simplistic and predictable without a doubt lol Anyone could have come up with that.

-When will this shameless woman stop with the marilyn monroe rip offs? I mean the woman has been dead for how many years now? Disgusting how Madonna keeps trying to co-opt Monroe's image (ex. the wig and white gown in this video) as part of her own "classic look".

-Madonna does look good in her other outfit, I give her that.

Song is cheesy but I like the flow.

Could do without Minaj and MIA.

Video is sort of corny but the missus looks really good to be over 50.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I remember "Monsters" posting the same type of info once Born This Way was bought via pre-orders on there. I mean I can see it going to number-one but I just never got the iTunes craze.
