(CBS) Guns N' Roses will set up shop in New York during Fashion Week.

The rockers have lined up three Manhattan shows for next week, including a gig at Webster Hall. It's been 24 years since Guns N' Roses played the venue (then called The Ritz). And in the spirit of the occasion, Webster Hall will be renamed "The Ritz" (on the marquee) just for the night. Also scheduled are shows in Chicago, Atlantic City and Silver Spring, Md.

Pre-sale tickets are already on sale for the New York dates, with general on-sale starting Wednesday. Tickets and VIP packages for all six dates will be available at at the group's website.

Guns N' Roses recently wrapped up an arena tour, playing more than 30 shows in the United States. The band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14.

Guns N' Roses' most recent album, "Chinese Democracy," was released in November 2008.

Tour dates:

Feb. 10 - New York - Roseland Ballroom

Feb. 12 - New York - Terminal 5

Feb. 15 - New York - The Ritz (Webster Hall)

Feb. 19 - Chicago - House of Blues

Feb. 23 - Silver Spring, Md. - The Fillmore

Feb. 24 - Atlantic City, N.J. - House of Blues

I saw the Axl Rose show back in 07 sometime. Was the most bloated self indulgent performance ive ever seen, definitely not worthy of the Guns n Roses name. The only concert where I've ever walked out before it actually finished it was that bad! eek

Why did you find it so bad?

I saw them last year and thought he put on a great show. They play for almost two and half hours and it's a pretty full-on show.

I was just disappointed by what guns n roses had become, a memory only, something to witness in the late 80s/early 90s. Then they were in their prime, an actual band and a unique musical entity. They are definitely not that now. What I saw that night was not GnR - it was the Axl Rose show, just him knocking off a few numbers with a backing band. I don't know what the show is like now, maybe they've improved it or gotten better or whatever. But My night he arrived very late (surprise, surprise) which delayed the concert by over an hour and made everyone even more restless cause there was no support band either from memory. He then sang a couple songs, introduced a band member, and walked off stage so they could play a solo spot. Came back sang another song, then walked off and let someone else play a solo number. This went on over and over and it was almost like he didn't even want to be there. Was probably a 2 hour show but I swear for an hour of it Axl wasn't even on stage! We just listened to guitar solos all night instead!! Haha. I remember Paradise City was the last song and I was so over it by then I thought I don't care how this ends, and I couldn't be bothered fighting my way outta here through the crowd. so me and my friend just said Fuck this and left.

Again that was 2007 so I can only hope they've improved since then and maybe revamped the show. (they didn't play civil war either mad )
The show I saw felt like Axl didn't even care to be there, there was no feeling in anything and just bang out the hits.

thats about the time i saw them. they were pretty shit. too many cover versions that were far from ironic in the way they may have thought they were being, it was like lame dinosaurs murdering the tracks. there was a self indulgent instrumental guitar solo of somewhere over the rainbow and xtina's beautiful that went on for about a quarter of an hour. when a fucking rock n roll band that like to think they are great is covering a bloody pop song, you know it's time over. they also murdered knocking on heavens door and sympathy for the devil i think

they went on about 2 hours late, so instead of getting out at 11pm as planned, the gig ended at half past midnight. just to fuck off the fans who travelled from afar who missed the last train or bus home. that's part of the point of curfews at arena and stadium gigs. there was literally a gap of about 2 or 3 hours between support act ending and them playing. so people standing for 2 or 3 hours with nothing filling the time. this couple i was talking to had seen them way back in the early days and had travelled for 5 hours to see them for the first time in years. they were big fans, but they were so pissed off about the wait and the performance that they left halfway through the gig, and they weren't the only ones who left early

waxl was also moaning about people booing because they were so late, and argued with some folk near the front and told them to leave if they didn't want to stay. apparently he was late because he decieded to have a meal at a posh restuaraunt at the time he should have been onstage at the venue. no technical problems, just an arsehole frontman problem. he was similarly late for about 2 hours at most of the other gigs he did at the time. who does he think he is? prince?
