Awesome! Wishing Well (the song, not that version) was the song that made me a fan back then music. And I will never forget when he started one of his shows I went to with that song worship.

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Ahh, I went to one of his shows back then too, went with my sister. While she was busy wetting her knickers and throwing her bra at him, I was like "when's he going to play Wishing Well? neutral"

At that show, it was the last song he played.

Fuck i'm old.

What tour was that?

I missed the one to "Introducin..." beause he cancelled the show I had tickets to because of the president we had elected at that time and it was too short notice to make arrangements to travel and go and see another show bawl.

It was the "Introducin' The Hardline" tour, 1987-88? I think I still have my ticket somewhere, I was like 17 years old.

Sorry you missed it. I remember him being very energetic back then, constantly dancing, doing the splits etc, it was a good show.

I can imagine pout. Well I should not complain, I saw him quite often later, but I am still pissed that he cancelled the show even though he apologized for it later when he played my city on the tour for Symphony or damn.

I've never understood the appeal of this song. I don't hate it, but I have trouble understanding why it became his biggest hit and is supposed to be his trademark song, or something like that. It's pretty bland to my ears.

On a more up to date note, that official live release on VHS was on a torrent site last year, not sure if it's still up there.

His biggest hit and trademark song is "Sign your name" I would say.

Yeah but seeing it on video is not the same as the live appearance and I was looking very forward to the show.

One of the best soul singers out there. Why he fell off in America after his first cd, I have no idea. What label was he on?
