Yes. Unfortunately i had to witness that shit at a Fresh Fest. I had a couple of high school kids with me along with another college buddy and the little boy that was sitting next to me just shook his head in disbelief as i was in disbelief. Don't laugh at my funk

I just saw this episode last night - great episode, as ALL the episodes of "unsung" that I've seen are.
I've always liked Full Force.. but after last night - I have some love for them & definitely more respect.
I give them A LOT of credit for - back when they were getting started - wanting to be more than "just singers".. they learned & understood the importance of SONGWRITING & producing other acts.. & that by doing that, they would be setting themselves up for MORE.
it was cute, how Lisa Lisa (with her fine VOLUPTOUOUS self) admitted how nervous she was when she met the guys in Full Force.. if I had been her then, I think I would have been "a little" nervous too!
I too like "unselfish lover".. the extended "it's okay, it's okay" version - VERY FUNNY! ("2 points!")
yeah - MUCH LOVE to Full Force. for doing it the right way for giving back & helping others make it & for still doing it today! I have to try to catch them the next time they come through town..
I'll see you tonight..

Loved it! It was good to see Full Force, Lisa Lisa, U.T.Fo. and others on this show. I had no idea that Full Force was behind the scenes with that many artists. It was really to see them doing so well in that aspect. Kudos to Full Force for doing things the way they did. Unsung played a lot of jams. I had to get up and dance a few times. They had some throwback grooves for that ass! The old videos were too funny, ah nostalgia.
On another note, all the best to Paul. Keep fighting the good fight! He is definitely in my prayers.

with the news of today it's sad knowing that this episode just might feature the last interview with Don Cornelius man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

good episode. first i've seen. the Samantha non-mention was kinda glaring. i realized that i didn't know their own "hits" and IMO their best work was for others. Ain't My Type of Hype is actually the only single they mentioned that I knew. Kudos to Paul for hanging in there. he looks good!

That's what tripped me out. He wasn't on the O'Jays one. I don't think he was on Bobby's and I honestly don't think he'll be on Millie's or David's either. Just...odd.
