I'm loving it like McDonalds, haha. I had no idea they wrote and produced, Thanks for My Child. That's what I like Unsung....finding out things about the artist you didn't know. Like, their work with Britney Spears, Little Kim...I had no idea.
I really like their personalities and spirit. I'm surprised the show didn't mention, All Cried Out, which was a huge pop hit, I think it was #1. In addition, I thought they would tak about New Jack Swing and the Teddy Riley movement, which I think represented a shift in music during the time.
Overall, it was a very good show.

The shift they spoke about was gangster rap. I believe they were part of the New Jack swing movement. PRINCE: Always and Forever

I know! He's truly a surviving machine. Wish I could work out with him :crush:
Dang didn't know Bowlegged Lou was that tall, I always thought he was way shorter than the other guys. Oh well, doesn't matter.
I thought it was a pretty good episode, learned a few things I didn't know about them before hand besides them working with Lisa Lisa, James Brown and doing the House Party movies.
But my goodness, the "Alice sandwich" that was done on stage.... Lawd have mercy! [Edited 1/31/12 4:13am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yeah that was pretty freakish...Im too prudish to participate in that... then Paul Anthony pulling his pants down showing his underwear on stage....too much
I liked this episode No backstabbing within the family...No issues with their management...No suing their record label....No tabloid drama.. like previous Unsung episodes it was a happy ending.
Hang in there Paul Anthony.
Rap...Pop...R&B they did it all.....
Mike Hughes looks horrible

How long does it takes for TvOne to post their new episodes online? I didn't see it last night. I look forward to catching it online soon.

Yeah it was a bit incestuous to me. He grinding the girl and I guess implying that Lou would be hitting it from behind...lawd, too much. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

exactly - it's like he just pulled those two names out of a hat.
d train's 'you're the one for me' was a bad boy tune but in no way, shape or form new jack swing holding something together that is falling apart

Just watched it! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. My thoughts....
First of all, Damn if Paul Anthony don't look just like his dad did when he was younger.
I forgot they were from Brooklyn
I forgot about how I used to lust after Lisa Lisa and The Real Roxanne. I was young but I had some ideas.
I haven't heard the name Hitman Howie Tee uttered in years.
Dr. Ice looks like a preacher now
PA does a pretty good JB impression. "Static" was my shit though!
They were smart to get some of that crossover money. I ain't mad at them either.

Lou used to always come by Kings Plaza mall and buy music way back, cool guy, always wanted U to recommend something to him, the coolest meeting and person that i keep a line on is Cheryl Pepsi Riley, this lady and i talked countless times on the music industry and new artists and PRINCE big time when she would come by, very cool, she used to bring her kid with her, wow that seems like another lifetime "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

now who's the oldest?
Lou or the twins? | |

Since Lou is named after their father, I would think that he would be the oldest...but who knows. I'm just guessing. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
