New Video: Kate Bush – "Eider Falls at Lake Tahoe''
January 25, 2012
Kate Bush is well known for pairing her music with comparable illustrations. Bush’s tenth Album 50 Words of Snow features an eleven- minute track titled “Eider Fall at Lake Tahoe”.
Bush has just released a video for the song. The video starts with the euphonious sound of the piano. Bush’s used a detailed variety of shadow puppets in an uncanny way. Chilling, elegant, puppets created with the look of simplicity and daintiness. (http://stupiddope.com/201...ake-tahoe/" target="_blank">Link)

She is the most original, fascinating and astounding female singer/songwriter/"musician"/poet/musical storyteller i have ever seen. I'm ashamed that she isn't regarded more as a national treasure here in the UK. We should be so proud to have birthed one of the most influential artists ever. The video is nice, but I just cant get into the song or the album unfortunately. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Being nominated for a 2012 Brit award for best female artist is quite cool recognition for a 50+ yr old artist, despite The Brits being a load of industry pat on the back wank.

Love, love, LOVE Miss Kate! I'ma go check this out RIGHT NOW! I MUST SAY that I'm LOVING the song "Snowed in on Wheeler Street" which features Elton John on vocals. I'm not really a huge fan of his, but I HAVE to say, he does well duetting with her on this very stark and moody piece of music. It's gorgeous. Sad how underrated she is on both sides of the globe. She's unbelievably sensual, poetic, deep and philosophical. [Edited 1/25/12 12:53pm] Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

I agree. Not bad considering he had no idea beforehand what he was going to be singing or what the track was like until he turned up at her studio.

Don't agree there, i'm afraid. She'll be nominated alongside Jessie J or Ndubz or another one of them rap singer things....insult. One nomination at one of these vomit inducing, masked sensational reality shows ain't exactly a feat for an album that devastated the music year artistically. Not really fair to Jessie J - who honestly, is incredibly, phenomenally talented vocally.
And Bush's video is a rip-off of Little Dragon's "Twice" vid :

1st of all, that comment about Jessie G or whatever his name is, stops our conversation. She sounds like 5 cats being raped by a couple of bad lambs. Lastly, shadow puppeteering is not exclusive to Kate Bush....it's a common form of art. This Post is produced, arranged, composed and performed by WetDream

Yeah that pretty much does end any debate before it even begins because you'd just proven that you're apparently, very tone-deaf.
I never said the puppets were exclusive to her - which is why I pointed out that Little Dragon did it, years before she did.
You don't read very well, do you? 비
