January 23, 2012
Sean Combs, the entertainment impresario known as Diddy, is planning to launch a music-themed cable network, according to sources with knowledge of his plans. The channel is called Revolt and is aiming to launch at the end of the year--12/12/12, to be specific.

This will be interesting to see what unfolds over the next few months. He must be working pretty hard that there hasn't been too much news on the Diddy front as of late. Time Warner and Comcast are basically the same company anyway so the viewership will be through the roof at launch. [Edited 1/23/12 17:50pm]

After the first 6 months of low ratings, the music will slowly be phased out. By 2014, there'll be nothing on it but 'Martin', 'Living Single', and 'The Game' re-runs, a daily top 10 video countdown, and a slew of ghetto reality shows . [Edited 1/24/12 20:30pm]
