Back when I was young and attempted to do the gay club scene, I didn't do very well. All of them seemed to play that loud, annoying techo, house or electronic music, which drove me bonkers! All I ended up with was a migrane after leaving those clubs. And most of the black straight clubs were playing Hip-Hop, which I was only a casual fan of and I could never take that longer than 10 minutes. So I decided the club life wasn't for me.

I only like it when clubs play specific music I know I will enjoy, nothing with current music at all. At the last Prince jam, there was another room and the people with me wanted to go in there instead so I joined them and wanted to just scream.

Why is it that "The Golden Girls" is now strongly associated with gay men? Back when it was on the air, it was like one of the highest rated sitcoms on TV. It had both straight and gay and black and white fanbases. Now, all of a sudden, it's a gay show???? I don't get it. "Modern Family" doesn't seem to get that same label and, next to "Will & Grace", that's probably the gayest sitcom I've ever seen on TV.

I always associated "Golden Girls" with my childhood... sexuality be damned.

No, that's bullshit. You don't have to like something just because it tends to stereotypically be associated with a group you're a member of.

I think most black women are expected to be Beyonce fans, but I'm not one and won't be anytime soon. No one has the right to try and tell you what you 'should' like. Fuck them.

Wear it as a badge of honor and good taste. I have one madonna disc in my collection and not a diva to be found elsewhere. Give me gay music by gay artist. Ive never been impressed by female vocals or nor identified with them and their "struggles" like gays are "suppose" too.

Plus the thump thump thump you hear is only the sound that registers with meth out twinks doing bumps in the bathroom stalls.
