Great watch!!! I simply love her and she is alongside Adele as the breakout star of 2011. I truly hope her sophomore album continues to build on what is a promising solo career for her. biggrin biggrin biggrin

I liked her when she was with Floetry and wanted to like her when she went solo, but after seeing her awful performance with Common on the..Soul Train awards (I think, can't remember if it was the BET awards or Soul Train awards), she really has lost my interest. confused

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Her performances made me cringe. I don't like the feeling of cringing. Floetry, yes. Solo Marsha seems like pea without the nut, cookies without milk. Looks like we all have a story that could be told. I wish her wellness.

I really really like Marsha but NOTHING I mean NOTHING tops the genius of "Floetry" I wish they had not broken up....I wish her success as well while I dig Floetry more than her solo stuff..

Marsha is very talented and a good singer. Also, a talented songwriter...

Her problem is well I think the issue people have with her is she tries to rear out of her lane....

For example, she really is a neo soul artist and with this debut she cross overed to r&b but with that performance that was posted above it seems like she is trying to sell an image/gimmick more so than talent when she is WAYYYY talented to be doing that shit....she doesnt have to. It seems sometimes she tries to hard to be something that she isnt and its not convincing.. Once again wish she could have stayed with Floetry they would have been much bigger than they were if they had of stayed as a group.
