love it, thanks for posting.

i think, THINK, this was from her very last show w/ big brother. They had split up a year or so before, and she'd already released Kozmic Blues album. They supposedly reunited for one or two shows (at Avalon?), a year later, and were brilliant.

The reference to Joe Namath, who she was linked to after Big Brother split, gives it away.

What an amazing texas primal freak out voice. It was just so unique, and beautiful.

I put it someplace on mars where Etta James, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose all converge.
