These are classics! I think my very favorite song, of his and ever, would be "Moonlight Cocktails."

I can't imagine what it must have been like to be a fan of his in the 40's and then hear he was shot down by the Japanese in World War II. Did they ever find his body? There are a few conspiracy theories about the whole ordeal. Sad really. But who knows, maybe the truth just isn't as interesting or sensational. At least his music lives on. THANKS for posting!

I was jamming to him last night. He's got a really hot version of "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing". I was trying to find it on YouTube and couldn't find the exact one I wanted, but if I find it I'll post it.

Glenn's plane actually went down in the English Channel.

I've got Glenn on a few CDs of music from that era. I hum or sing Little Brown Jug, Chatanooga Choo-Choo and (I've Got a Gal In ) Kalamazoo all the time, but his rendition of Serenade in Blue is probably my favorite of his.

My parents used to listen to all kinds of this music. I remember it from my childhood. These guys were amazing musicians. I would love to see this genre make a comeback.
