"Just the Way You Like It." Queen Mary kills it with her trademark honeyed sweetness and on the title cut, I love when she belts on the last series of "just the WAY you LIKKKKKKE ITTTTT's." Hers, to ME, is the sexiest female voice (next to Lady Tee) in Old School R&B. It saddens me that Jam & Lewis didn't want more of that intense vocal gorgeousness. sad

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

For me it's The Sands of Time. Since Jam and Lewis produced 6 out of the 8 tracks (not including the 30 second reprise), it's a good listen from start to finish. Even the final two tracks produced by the group go well with the Flyte Tyme-produced ones. I wish there was a proper release of the album on cd with bonus remixes for The Finest, Borrowed Love, No Lies and Even When You Sleep. But my favorite moment with Mary singing is towards the end of Just Be Good To Me. "We've talked about it/and I/ rather have a piece of you/than to have all of nothing.....I'm not the jealous type/I won't tie you down with me."

You can't deny that. I just love SOS. They are really one of my favorite bands.

I bought 3 LP's by them for goodness sake. For my cheap azz, that says a lot.
