Love this groovy, sexy song, but didn't really understand what 'rope burn' meant at first. I was kind of innocent though old enough to know too at the same time

Looking back, I like the fact that it's more subtle and artistic than a song like S&M that is too direct and in your face with the sexuality.This is a great & sexy song!
And unlike SNM it is very slow, not over the top & is very sexy & smooth Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

imo janet is 'cute-sexy,' and not so in your face. this live version is seductive and let's the imagination play out in the performance. i agree with alphastreet.
