Alot of these quote on quote artists do not really give the real talk or real opinions on how these awards are given out and how the music industry functions. Elton has been in the game for a very long time so he knows what the deal is...

However, comments in the past such as what you posted clearly reveals a hidden truth about the music industry and how it operates... I agree... Madonna should not ever get an award for Best Live Act because she doest sing live and she isnt a "good" live singer their better.

these are the same posters that bashed WAR for their comments on Beastie Boys and getting snubbed for the SECOND time for RHOF

The same people that bashed Kelly Price and Jill Scott for speaking out on the Grammys snubbery they showed with the nominations...

This forum i oddly seems to have issue with credible artists speaking out against the fuckery music industry (which is ironic since this forum wants to be taken seriously as a music conscience forum)... why I dunno... they seem to oddly defend pop tarts and artists that deserve the bashing for making shit... it comes to no surprise they would bash Elton... but he kinda deserves it this time around.

There is some truth to what Elton is saying but he is to got damn old to be acting like a fool. There are certain ways you can express yourself without making yourself look like an ass and then get pie in your face like he did...
