Written, arranged and produced by the immortal Gamble and Huff. One of my favorite tracks from the Epic era.

Yes it is but very underappreciated. Tito did a great job on the guitar.

Mike's vocals in this>>>>>>Your Life
Seriously, this song contains some of MJ's most soulful vocals ever. I love the "King of Pop" stuff, but I wish MJ had done more soulful songs like this as a solo artist and yes of course credit has to be given to Gamble & Huff. Great, soulful tune. I wouldn't expect any less from them. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Michaels voice is like buttermillk heaven...it makes me melt and YES Mike should have experiemented with alot more soul...in his older years...He did his thing with Butterflies though...

He sure did!
Whenever I listen to "Human Nature", "Show You The Way To Go", "Butterflies",etc. I remember why I love him so much. Those songs are examples of MJ's voice at his best.
I am in love with Michael's voice (in case you couldn't tell lol). Period.
"Invincible" contained some of MJ's best and most soulful vocals ever. The album gets a lot of hate, but the ballads on there were great. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

If I could marry, make love and have kids to Michaels voice I would... Im in love with Michaels voice AND him
Invincible was not his best but it is very underrated in alot of aspects. I thought Michael exactly tried being more soulful on that album with tracks like Butterflies, Break of Dawn, Heaven Can Wait..
Break of Dawn.. Whoever produced that track I believe it was Dr. Freeze or somebody like that... put there foot in that and Michael layed that shit down!!!! Ahh I love that song

Yeah it's like "oh you mocked me for liking him but now he's dead it's cool to play him again?" And then they look at you funny when you don't play him. -Timmy on after 6-25 fans

Oh the look in his eyes.... I just have to look into them and I know why I love this man.
That man was something so special...I don't even know where to begin.
His voice is just plain heavenly. Even when he talks, it sounds like a lullaby.
The salvation of man is through love and in love. - Dr. V. Frankl

to me, this is 1 of
THE BEST
Jackson 5/Jacksons songs. I think most long-time fans know it, but I'm not sure if people appreciate it as much as should be..
the Gamble/Huff arrangement - & Michael's vocal improv after the last chorus - make this song great. I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS.. | |

For my money, this is the very best song Michael Jackson ever sang. Period. :mushy: "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I've always liked it, yeah. Not my first pick, but it's up there. Very ethereal and dreamy. [Edited 1/19/12 22:07pm] 비

Vintage Jacksons.
Michael's voice shows signs of maturity and the production is spectacular. Gamble and Huff did some great work with the Jacksons.
