Vocally, Butterfly slays the competition to smitherines. Musically, I'll go with The Velvet Rope. Lyrically, they both tie though I think Mariah is hands down one of the greatest female songwriters of all time.

I agree Mariah is very underrated as a songwriter, and she`s a flexible one too, more than she gets credit for. I think her best collaborations ever were with Walter A., Jermaine Dupri and Bone Thugs & Harmony. | |
