I watched this on PBS tonight, great performance. I didn't realize until tonight that this had never aired before. I wasn't able to attend the live concert, but I had a friend that was there who has since passed away, so watching this concert tonight was extra special just knowing that she was somewhere in that crowd. This concert is a piece of musical history, I will absolutely be purchasing the DVD.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this concert.

I think the cover really captures the defining moment of that show, and personally find it rather fabulous.

Diana is what 67 or 68? I wonder if she'll ever sit down and write a Book about her life? She's got personal things that happened with her siblings that would make for a great read...I think it was JET that reported years ago about something her brother was going through...Interesting read.....
It's obvious she's got so much to tell about her life before she ever sang....She's not gonna do any major touring anymore so she should give her Fans a Book...

I heard this concert being referenced in one of my favourite childhood books years ago when these kids were in New York. A Baby Sitters Club book I believe. I love the cover, she looks beautiful and like she's working the stage. I'll watch it when I get a chance and buy it if I can. If it was a year or two later, she would have sang my favourite song of her, Missing You. And yes, it was before 2009 I liked it.

I bought and read this when it first came out; I was surprised to see how open she was about she and her husband Arne Naess being so different and having such contrasting passions, There's essentially a passage iin there where she admitted she couldn't figure out for the life of her why somebody would enjoy mountain climbing and braving the elements as her husband so often did for most of his life. I guess Diana's version of a mountain weekend was more like chilling in a cabin, fireside under a mink blanket & sipping champagne; not climbing Mt. Everest
