LOVE his first Motown solo album with "Rub You the Right Way" and I'm particularly fond of his duet with Stacy Lattisaw, "Where Do We Go From Here." He's always been like a modern-day Teddy Pendergrass to me. Powerful and capable of killing whatever was put in front of him at any given time. A vocal MASTER. biggrin

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Johnny Gill (1990). Provocative is underrated.

That's a good description of him, as long as he doesn't over do it as he sometimes does. But the man definitely has the pipes.

I'll have to go with the "Johnny Gill" album that has "Fairweather Friend" and "Rub You the Right Way" on it. Those two songs alone are enough to get the whole album. nod

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Gotta go with "Johnny Gill" ('90). "Wrap My Body Tight" was always my favorite song from that album since I first heard it.

It was underrated. I think the 2nd single I Got You killed any chance

of momentum for the album.
