My Morning Jacket Anyone else a fan of these guys?, just saw their live concert film "Okonokos", and it is incredible, one of the best concerts i have seen. We're here, might as well get into it. | |

i'm a fan...although i found their latest album kind of boring. in fact, i'm kind of bored with them generally. jim james' voice has kind of been getting on my nerves lately. i still like them very much, especially 'z', but i think i'm gonna put them down for awhile...
check out monsters of folk, too...i forget the name of the album, but their kind of an indie all-star band; including jim james. pretty good stuff. |

I'm a fan. I discovered them through an episode of "American Band" featuring their animated character, and fell in love with the song "Wordless Chorus"... Jim James voice, is like an angel singging, I love his falsetton, and I really enjoy how they mix Rock/country/World music in their music. And Both 'Z' and 'Okonokos Live' are classics in the Indie rock canon, they deserve much more recognition froom the public... Everybody is somebody, but nobody wants to be themselves. | |

Yeah they're pretty amazing, been going through the albums for the last week or so, have to say i like them all, "It Still Moves" is perhaps my favourite after "Okonokos". Great guitar band. [Edited 1/15/12 0:36am] We're here, might as well get into it. | |
