headbang One of the best songs of all time! It sounded so good in 1979 and it still sounds fresh and vital today.I love GQ's light,synth-heavy sound.

I don't know why it's titled "rare disco". That's one of the most (over?) played songs on one of the urban/R&B oldies stations down here. lol

I love the way people miscategorize music on Youtube lol or they get confused with artists' names.I saw a Youtube video of "Don't Stop The Music" and it was credited as an SOS Band song! LOL...it's really by Yarbrough and Peoples.

They do that a lot on DJ Screw's records and he also had the habit of crediting the wrong artist (he labeled "Nights of Pleasure" by Loose Ends as an SOS Band song lol). lol And people seem to repeat his mistakes. lol

I remember back in the old Napster days, some dumbass had "Brick House" listed as Rick James. I downloaded it thinking it might be an unreleased remake of Rick's, a live concert cover, or even an unreleased original track of his that just happened to have the name "Brick House". Back then, it used to take about three hours to download a song and when it finished downloading and I listened to it, it was The Commodores. I thought to myself...."What a fucking dumbass!". lol

I don't mean no harm, but a while ago I read that name was the birth name of Keith Sweat. Wiki is saying that Keith Sweat is his birth name, but I COULD'VE SWORN that I've read that the Keith Sweat was born Keith Crier, somewhere. Weird shit.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

They're not the same person. Crier is Sweat's uncle.

For many years, people thought that Keith Sweat was a member of this band lol Even Black Beat editor Steve Ivory thought so.In the liner notes to one of those 'Phat Trax' compilations (which features "Disco Nights"),he mistakenly wrote that Keith Sweat was an early member of the group....lol....
