Who'd be in your dream band? I'm sure this has been posed before, but if you were putting together a band, who'd be in it and why? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Prince on vocals (and multiple other instruments), Sheila E. on drums, bonnie boyer on backing vocals, Dr. Fink on keyboards...oh wait, this band really existed!
for real though...Prince on vocals and multiple instruments, coltrane on sax, keith moon on drums, sheila e on percussions, mayte on finger cymbals (just kidding, y'all), and rotating special guests for individual tracks.

Jennifer Lopez sharing vocals with Britney Spears. Mariah Carey on backing vocals, Whitney Houston dancing, Vanilla Ice on the rap segments eeem Michael Jackson on the "oooh" part and on the naked video parts and all of the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls (except Mel. C) doing cameos on the videos...eeem production by PWL of course.
Thar would be great to watch... as a comedy LOL

There are too many great ones, I'd have to assemble multiple bands to get them all in. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Lammastide. interesting, I was just gonna do a thread on this a few day ago. But neglected to do so. This is my all- star line up. 1st and 2nd string.
Starting Line up Keith Jarrett-Piano Wayne Shorter-Tenor Saxophone Roy Hargrove-Trumpet Roy Haynes-Drums Marcus Miller-Bass Pat Metheny-Guitar Will Downing-Vocals Coming off the bench would be Herbie Hancock-Piano, Keyboards Josuha Redman-Saxophone Idris Muhammad- Drums George Benson--Guitar Me'Shell NdegéOcello-Bass Roy Ayers-Vibraphone Cassandra Wilson-Vocals I don't know what kind of musical chemistry my list would yield, but at least I tried. Like Nova said, there are too many great ones. I'm basically scratching the surface. Where are Rick James, R Kelly and Michael Jackson..the geniuses? You state for weeks on end the genius of James, Jackson and Kelly and even go far as reporting people and trying to close threads, and brag about "we will school you at ___ forum" because you feel so strongly about the geniuus of these artists yet you do not list any of them in your dream band. And I ask about this and you say I push buttons "Climb in my fur."

And I ask about this and you say I push buttons Im not "flipping any script". Lets not forget your promise of a flight ticket purchase for me if u really want to go there about "tactics". And its quite funny how in debate of talent and the so called geniuus of R Kelly et.al that you are miffed by .."bad language" lol. AStill its quite telling that these 3 were not in your lists of dream band members. "Climb in my fur."
