You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

That's funny, I just heard that song on the "Unsung" show this past weekend and posted a clip of that song in my signature line, and just seeing this thread for the first time. It is one of those great "Back-in-the-day" tracks!

I remember in 1980,I bought the 45 of the "Two Places At The Same Time" single and the B-side was "For Those Who Like To Groove".I instantly liked it and soon thereafter, everyone else did too.R&B radio stations began playing it and it became a hit single in its own right. This happened alot back then: radio DJs would flip a record over and play the B-side and pretty soon, that song would became a popular hit...sometimes,even doing better than the A-side!

The music was hot and so were the men. Especially that one in the tight white pants. He was workin' them heels too. Andy is a four letter word.

Andy and them WHITE PANTS.
I don't think they ever hid the fact that this was an obvious nod toward "One Nation Under A Groove". LOVED Raydio, and Ray Parker, Jr. (...but he lost me with "Ghostbusters").
