Modeselektor are super tight with Thom Yorke, so I would imagine he'll show up there on the first weekend, at least.

Can't freakin' believe fIREHOSE is reuniting AND playing Coachella. Amazingly awesome, and I bet most people don't have a freakin' clue who they are. lol When the Red Hot Chili Peppers sang "Let me tell you 'bout a band called fIREHOSE"... well... yeah...

This is like, 1986...

Not the greatest vocalist on Earth, but a fine lyricist. I really dig what she's doing.

My only complaint is the inclussion of an abundance of mediocre dubstep acts. There's a feakin' ton of them and I have no doubt they could have easily found some good bands to take their places. At the very least some better electronic acts. Its a lame attempt to cater to the current "thing". Not at all what Coachella has always been about.

Its one of the wackest lineups imo

Huh. Well, I actually like most of the lineup. It leans more towards smaller, "underground" bands, has a couple of great reunions, and Radiohead. biggrin lol I actually own music by a good number of the artists who are playing, so my opinion is probably a bit biased. But I really felt like they've been moving towards catering to whatever is "popular" in recent years, so I'm glad to see the shift back to what it was like in earlier years. Most dubstep sucks sweaty donkey balls, imo. They could have done with less of that crap.
