Who Knew Barry White could cuss up a storm? Hilarious!
A friend sent me this vid of Barry White cussing up a storm in his early days. He sort of went off on a rant similar to the one Bill O'Reilly did, when Bill got frustrated with the cameramen, whenhe was trying to record his lines for his show. Just letting you know for those who are sensitive to swearing, that Barry's doing some of that in this vid.
Barry was gangsta from the get so I'm not surprised. You should've seen his Behind the Music episode. He was cussing up a storm on that one too.
Especially at the end of the episode:
"You're looking at a man who has been doing this SHIT since 1960!" I when he said that. Made him human IMHO because I also had him in that "he's always a love man" type. That episode showed he had demons too but thankfully he overcame them.

I absolutely loved the female group he created "Love Unlimited" and I remember him being married to one of them and they had quite a number of kids. I think only one of the female sings from that group is still alive, not sure. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, thanks. I did hear of one of them passing away a couple of years ago, so wasn't sure if Barry's wife was still alive for some reason.
You don't have to be "gangsta" to curse. I've heard far worse from people who grew up in the church and are still there.
That's true. I guess it's just a human emotion lol even though technically Barry WAS gangsta lol
I hear both of you, but like you mentioned about Barry singing about 'love, romance, etc', as well as the female group he managed, Somehow I guess I was so used to Barry singing about that, I just never pictured him cussing. I guess I was over-mesmerized with his music and saw him as a person who was in love with love and romance, forgetting he was human too and was not exclusive of expressing himself in other emotions. But I have to say that video is hilarious.

Well you know what they say, people have a certain image of a celebrity and when they do something that is "ordinary" it shocks them.

Good point, I guess that's why I was laughing at that vid, because he's just acting like any other ordinary, human being who results to swearing when they get pissed off, and I've always seen him in his 'celebrity' image.
