I am generally positive about the song and DLR. The video is even fine, conceptually, it just looks bad (as does Eddie).

Im not really sure what everyone was expecting? I mean think of the 2 tracks on the Best of compilation and they werent amazing tracks so i dont know what people were hoping for? I mean they cant recreate themselves as 25 year olds anymore, i know people cant seem to let artists past work go, but you are just gonna be let down with everything they do if you hold the new stuff up to work from your youth and how it made you feel.

As for the song, i dig it, its a track off an album, i remember when "Black N Blue" came out from OU812 and people were like what the hell is this shit! and i thought it was a great rock track, but people for some reason after 1984 wanted nothing but "hit singles" from a band that really never specialized in "hit singles" before. And the video, i like it, simple, to the point, im glad its a performance video because i cant really stand when older artists now try to put themselves in roles in their videos, its one thing to make a visually stunning thing but im glad David and the guys arent standing at a bar looking at chicks.

Good points Lastd. Though I really like Me Wise Magic and CGTSNM from Best of. And glad you also like the new song. I think if folks would just let the song be what it is and not focus on what it's not, they just might enjoy it.

It really is fun, catchy and nicely crafted. For VH in 2012, which most thought wouldn't happen, I say, job well done.

Yeah it is just a song, not the amazing new single from an up-and-coming band.

I like that it is not trying to be something, it's just a regular track. That is why it's not a disaster IMO.

I completely agree with your statement. People act like it's the worst thing ever. It's just a good track from the album. You know most artsist first single is never the best track from the album neccesarily but it might be the best thing for radio. I bet anything there are other tracks on the album that will be fantastic! I have faith.

Man , videos really aren't a big part of the industry anymore. A huge event like this and this is the video they put out. Things have changed.
