I was pleasantly surprised with this. ?uestlove and his crew created the perfect production for Rev's voice, it damn near sounded like it came from Willie Mitchell's lab.

One of the best albums of 2008 and a definite highlight of Al's career as far as I'm concerned. ?uestlove and his crew put their touch on this album without diminishing that classic Willie Mitchell, 1970s-peak sound. Sounds like the perfect sequel to 1977's The Belle Album.

I played the hell out of that album and now that you've mentioned it, I gotta spin it again! Haven't heard it in a while.
