I love how folks act all brand new when some artist they don't like starts bragging about their status. Least in Rihanna's case, she can brag because she's got hits coming out of her, I assume, lovely anus. It's nothing new. Of course someone else will come and take her spot when the industry milks it dry as it always happen but for now she's here to stay for the time period.

Yeah, buts hits does not talent make Timmy. Rick, TTD, Prince all had actual talent to back it up.

Well, technically, she is correct. There is no one else like her. She probably has the worst voice in popular music right now. No one sounds as bad as she does. So, she is right. No one else is in her league and no one with good sense would want to be.

I like Rihanna. I like her style(and she is hot ), I know she is not -really- talented. But she got some good songs, which of course aren't writen or produced by Rihanna.

But yeah, I like her. That's all really.

I agree with you there. But I don't think Rihanna was invoking talent -- at least not musical talent -- in what she said. I think her statement was more of a "swagger" (forgive me for going there )/market share sort of comment.

I'm happy to say that I don't own one record of hers. There is nothing about her that remotely interests me.

The reason why music is bad. I was fine with the 2000's until along comes this bitch singing eh ehe eh for nearly an entire song and making it a hit. At first (I'm sure I'm not the only one) I thought she'd be gone in a heartbeat. But she's sadly stayed, acting like she's good at this (coughMilliVanilliMarkIIcough), she's needs to just go do playboy and smoke some weed. We'd all be better off
