your go-to road trip record?

mine:
Dave Matthews Band, Crash
I'm not a huge DMB fan or anything but for me this record is so great on a long ride.
Cover (Crash:Dave Matthews Band)

These are the 3 albums that I love to drive to. Not one bad track and I never tire of listening to these.

On long road trips, I need to stay awake so the less filler the better which means often times I'll listen to greatest hits comps--particularly American classic rock. The Essential Heart and Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits get played a lot. The Very Best of The Velvet Underground too.

not sure if this counts but DJ Foefur's Prince (and protege's) mix is and hour and 6 and gets me going pretty good on the road. i also recently discovered that Tribe's Midnight Marauders is a great road trip cd. my 80s mix tapes do me well too (i have three of them consisting of Jody, Duran2, TTD, etc.)
