Probe into Beyonce baby complaints at NY hospital

NEW YORK (AP) — New York health officials are investigating complaints patients in a hospital neonatal unit were mistreated while Beyonce was giving birth to her and Jay-Z's daughter.

Health department spokesman Michael Moran says they received two complaints about Manhattan's Lenox Hill Hospital.

Beyonce gave birth to the couple's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, on Saturday.

Media reports said the couple paid $1 million to take over a floor and their security guard blocked parents from the neonatal unit for hours. The hospital denied the reports, saying the couple paid the standard rate for an executive suite without disclosing what that is.

But hospital spokeswoman Barbara Osborn said Wednesday the hospital's executive director was conducting an inquiry into the complaints about treatment of neonatal unit patients.

Okay.....that 1st video was posted on the 6th, which means this was recorded way before she even had her baby which was on the 7th.

And if that second video was of her sittinng down and them showing her supposedly "scrunched up belly"....I've looked at videos of that interview {behind the scenes and all} and you can specifically see that the dress she had on was indeed loose around the stomach area. So, when she went to have a seat the extra material from the dress balled up around her stomach.

I see what you're saying but given that Beyonce and Jay dated for several years prior to marrying, one would think the subject of children would have come up and if she truly did not want to be a mother to a spawn of Jay's (even though he wanted it) then that should have been a deal breaker and they should not have wed. Yes, women are not obligated to become mothers but we are certainly designed for it and if a woman is having unprotected sex and is capable of reproduction well...guess what's going to happen.

Now as for the miscarriage, first time pregnancies often end in miscarriage and some women experience difficulting in conceiving after they have come off a long stint of birth control. I can't imagine this would be so traumatizing that she wouldn't try getting pregnant again unless a doctor pointed out some biological reason why she shouldn't or couldn't carry a baby. Even if such a condition existed, why go through a charade of a fake baby bump? Just fess up and possibly help other women with reproductive issues feel unashamed.

I think what is coming off as detestable are the rumors that Bey didn't want to "ruin" her figure and that is why she considered or chose a surrogate. Now if this is true, that a woman as young and active and with money to blow on cosmetic surgery considered a first time pregnancy the killer of her hour glass figure, then that would make her incredibly vain and selfish and perhaps with such characteristics she shouldn't be a mom.

Disclaimer: I don't believe Bey was never pregnant but I do believe she toyed with the press to keep them guessing about her due date.

in some countries women tend to the baby for at least nine-weeks before they go public. shoot, a next door neighbor of mine and his wife (from viet-nam) had their baby and only the immediate family was invited to meet the new baby, and were planning a introduction to their new baby celebration in nine weeks post the baby's birth.

the father told me reason was that they wanted to watch over the baby to make sure it was healthy, strong and alert, and felt the nine weeks was important for the new family's bonding time. at the end of the nine weeks the new parents had a luncheon celebration for friends and close neighbors. it seemed very special to me to meet the new baby during the wonderful celebration of new life. also the food was superb!

so anyway back to the Mr. & Mrs Carter family. i can see in the horizon a bunch of mess coming from all sides 'cause these two new parents (seem to) care too much about being in front of cameras instead of spending personal and private time with their 'new life.'

I can't see any boob dimples. I didn't even KNOW you could get boob dimples! I haven't really seen boob or stomach dimples on a pregnant woman before, and I'm surrounded by them (I have several expecting mothers in my family right now: all of them boys. It's insane.
