I'm passing this by and he'll no doubt do a proper world tour when the album comes out. At the moment, it's 50/50 as to whether the tour happens - and when you see dates being pulled, it's not really inspiring much confidence. But I hope it all comes together.

His show in late 1999 (or was it early 2000? I can't remember) at the House of Blues in L.A. remains one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen, by any artist. And, interestingly, Shelby was heavily featured as a back-up singer.

Why didn't he start in america first? I went back and listen to his music recently the voodoo album I can't find in stores but Brown sugar I found. I Found My Smile Again is my favorite out of all his songs.

I read an article recently (but it was actually several years old) that talked about how D looked in the Untitled video. Evidently he had never looked that way before - not in his entire life. He'd been working really hard with a trainer prior to that video being filmed and it ended up being the thing that everybody associates him with. It may even have been part of what led to some of his "issues" after that.

So while its cool that dude is getting in better shape, I hope he's not trying to get back to the way other people picture him, or want him to be. Dude just needs to get his head right.

That's what I'm hoping too. I think Jim Morrison had that same problem after that shirtless pic of him was put on Rolling Stone or whatever. You'd be surprised how some guys get self conscious suddenly when they're exposed like that.
