Are any of you going to see any of the shows that D'Angelo is putting on in Europe starting the end of this month? If so, what are you expecting to see in the shows?

Sounds like folks are really hyping this up to be a good tour. I hope it lives up to it.

Yes,I'll be seeing the show in Copenhagen,Denmark jan 27.

The premiere gig in my hometown Stockholm sold out in 3 min so I missed that.

I'm equally exited to see one of my heroes Jesse Johnson in his band too

and very curious to hear what new material he have come up with.

He's way over-due for a new album.

With Chris "Daddy" Dave on drums,Pino Palladino on bass and Jesse Johnson on guitar

backing him up sounds like it's gonna be a great great night!

Hamburg, Feb 9th. Unfortunately, the venue he plays sucks but still looking forward to it. Tickets were a bit pricy, though.

The "recent" photos I saw of him, he definitely has lost weight and he's got dreads/twists now.

Nah, from what I could tell, it's just Germany. Guess the demand just wasn't there. To be honest, considering the venue he was scheduled for here in Hamburg and the price for the ticket, I half expected it.

I "hope" u are correct.

It took some while for the initial London date to "sell out" (I say this as some ticket vending companies still have tickets for the 3rd).

I'm passing this by and he'll no doubt do a proper world tour when the album comes out. At the moment, it's 50/50 as to whether the tour happens - and when you see dates being pulled, it's not really inspiring much confidence. But I hope it all comes together.
