News: Beyonce & Jay-Z's Marriage Sparks Stabbing, "The Victim Did Not Know Beyonce's Husband Is Jay-Z"

An Ohio man was reportedly stabbed last week after it was realized that he was unaware that Grammy-winning singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter is married to hip-hop star Jay-Z.

Reports on the stabbing and the events leading up to the incident emerged online this week.

A fight over a music video led to a Garfield Heights man being stabbed outside a Parma apartment on New Year Eve. Det. Marty Compton of the Parma Police Department tells Fox 8 News that Ronald Deaver, 31, of Parma, was arrested and charged with felonious assault for allegedly stabbing a 48-year-old Garfield Heights man following an argument. Det. Compton says the fight began because the victim did not know that singer Beyonce's husband is rapper Jay-Z. (Fox News)

Although the stabbing proved not to be fatal, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

An arrest report obtained by Fox 8 News states the alleged stabbing occurred around 11:00 p.m. on December 31, 2011, outside Deaver's apartment on Broadview Road. Det. Compton says authorities were called following the stabbing and the victim was taken to a local hospital. He was later transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is currently listed in good condition. Police attempted to locate Deaver at his apartment, but according to the report, a woman in the residence, Jennifer Fornari, 31, told officers that Deaver no longer lived there. Deaver was located by police a short time later and Fornari was arrested on an obstructing justice charge. (Fox News)

A bizarre New Year’s Eve argument in a Cleveland suburb over the union of R&B diva Beyoncé and rapper-business mogul Jay-Z resulted in the stabbing of a 48-year old Garland Heights man just before the clock struck midnight.

Police officials for the city of Parma, just southwest of Cleveland, told a local Fox News affiliate that on December 31, an argument ensued between 31-year old Ronald Deaver and the stabbing victim. While watching a music video, Deaver became enraged that the victim was unaware that Beyoncé was the wife of Jay-Z, leading to the verbal clash and subsequent stabbing.

The Fox News station obtained the police report which states the attack allegedly took place at around 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, just outside of Deaver’s apartment. Authorities were alerted and headed to the scene, rushing the victim to nearby Metrohealth Medical Center where he was said to be in good condition.

Laugh or Cry? It's a thin line. Either way some fool knifed a man over the matrimonial activities of two pop stars who he does not know in the real world. The man didn't die, so I will chose to laugh - a lot.

And SOS is true when he says - "The argument could have easily been over if the moon is made of cheese." These two are likely to have known each other before this night, and ignorance of Beyonce being "taken" was the proverbial straw that that broke a dumbass back.
