Brenda Russell - "Piano in the Dark"

I remember hearing this song vividly when I was little and liked the melody. music

When I first heard this song as a kid, I thought it was Donna Summer. lol Donna had a hit around the same time this was out called "This Time I Know It's For Real" so I was like "aw shit Donna" until I saw the name of the artist. lol

A classic though and she was the original vocalist/songwriter behind "Get Here" and "If Only For One Night" too. nod

I love this by her. I also loved "So Good, So Right". I had no idea until recently it was actually her song.

I think she was always more popular as a songwriter than an artist. I only have her greatest hits cd. I'm not really sure what she's up to. I see she has an active website.
