Ke$ha To Embrace Vulnerability On New Album

[img:$uid]http://thelavalizard.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/keha1.jpg[/img:$uid]

If you enjoyed Ke$ha’s ‘Sleazy (Remix) (Ft. Wiz Khalida, Andre 3000,
T.I. & Lil Wayne)’
then you better save it to your iPod
because she won’t provide similar material on her next album. In fact, instead
of utilising the glitter, sex and auto-tune that characterised her previous
records, the Pop star has promised to put forward a more “vulnerable” sound on
her next LP.

Following her previous
comments that she wants to “reinvent Pop music”, Ke$ha has
revealed that she also wants her next album to revive Rock & Roll. Last
year, she stated that her new sound was heavily influenced by the 1970s roots of the genre but she
announced to MTV News this week that she intends to go a step
further by stripping away the layers of her often wild personality so that the
world would see her as a vulnerable yet “strong woman.”

Read what Ke$ha had to say about her new
Dr. Luke-assisted album below:

“I feel like I don’t necessarily agree, but
people say that rock and roll is dead, and it is my mission and my goal to
resurrect it in the form of my pop music,” Ke$ha told MTV News.
“That’s the goal. We’ll see what happens. That’s a very ambitious and lofty
goal, but that’s my goal.”

While critics of the glitter-loving singer might
call that a “Mission: Impossible,” Ke$ha is starting 2012 by showing her range:
her stripped-down cover of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All
Right”
will appear on Amnesty International’s “Chimes of
Freedom”
tribute compilation, due Jan. 24. The acoustic effort is far
from the club-centric singles that led 2010′s “Animal” to the
peak of the Billboard 200.

“You might hear a little bit more vulnerability
on the next record ’cause I have realized just from this Dylan cover coming out
that it can be such a strength and a nice balance to humanize the other side of
my personality,” Ke$ha said. “I have learned over the past three years of doing
this that being vulnerable doesn’t mean you’re weak. I very much want to be seen
as a strong woman, but I realize that vulnerability can also be a strength. So
on my next record, you are going to hear probably a little more of that. I’m not
going to make an acoustic, sad entire record.”

She added that she and producer Dr. Luke have
been working on new material independently and will “go into the studio”
together this month to begin recording.

Ke$ha is clearly on a mission to prove herself
with this next album. As a songwriter who has been operating in the industry for
quite some time as an unknown act, she is probably frustrated that people refuse
to acknowledge her as anything more than a drunk party girl. Yet, of course,
that is a glamour of her own creation.

If Ke$ha really does want to display her more
vulnerable side of herself, however, then she needs to work on her voice. Thus
far, she has been able to hide behind a shroud of auto-tune but acoustic vocal
performances will highlight every shabby aspect of her range and make her an
object of ridicule instead of the “strong woman” who she hopes the world would
praise.

Every bitch ass wants to reinvent pop. If Usher failed, what makes Ke$hit think she'll do better?

Identity

Following her previous
comments that she wants to “reinvent Pop music”.

The method by which this is accomplished will baffle absolutely everyone, including her producer.

These new artists need to STFU and make the album. Don't hype yourself, bnecause you're setting yourself up for failure. Like Gaga.

Gaga didn't fail in terms of sales. She only failed in critics and some fans opinions. If you don't promote and hype your album, who's gonna buy it?

I doubt Ke$ha's next album will be any good (hated the first two), but hoping it is! smile

She said her album would be album of the decade. I'm talking opinion wise, she didn't live up.

Her stans made a big deal cause i guess she was ''really crying'' when doing the song. Who cares if she was crying or taking a piss while singing lol she still suck's and has no emotion.
