New Music: R. Kelly – ‘Nothing On’/ ‘I Quit You’

r kelly 01262011 New Music: R. Kelly Nothing On/ I Quit You

Get behind thee Trey Songz!

Indeed, with R.Kelly set to release the album ‘Black Panties‘ in 2012, this is just what fans of the R&B maestro will be hoping critics will be chanting in unison once the project finally sees the light of day.

Now, as to whet the appetites of these very fans and critics, two unreleased tracks by the entertainer have surfaced online today.

Get into ‘Nothing On‘ and ‘I Quit You‘ below…

‘Nothing On’

I Quit You

I like 'Nothing on'....WHat do U think?

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

hmmm....

I love Kells music he made some great albums 12 Play, R. Kelly, R, Love Letter

& Some good ones like TP2.COM & Chocolate Factory

He is loosing it, Nothing On isn't bad... but it's boring. Boring production & standard Kells lyrics. He is almost 50, i feel he writes some great lyrics at times & other very immature.

He's 46 & making ima hit it songs

Go back to your Love Letter thing Kells....

There isn't going to be a big top 40 from this album, i don't think the album will sell well at all.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

These are old unreleased songs. "I Quit You" is a demo for a female artist but I wonder who. It sounds like it was created in the 2003 - 2004 time period.

Well seems like he's going back to that piece of garbage he called 12 Play 4. R is one of my favorite artists ever, I was in shock with how amazing his post-untitled music was. Now he seems to be going back to it. Hopefully there's a song on there almost as good as Echo.

That album title is a classic "shoot self in the foot" move.

Alot of these unreleased tracks out there are demos for other artists. I think he keeps a tighter lid on most of his own likely album tracks.

I don't even know what was going through his mind.

And what does Black Panties mean? Panties worn by a black girl or actual black panties? I'm confused.

The title "Black Panties" is inspired from a show on his Love Letter tour. R. Kelly mentioned in an interview that a lot of women were throwing panties at him but a pair of black panties landed right on his arm. He thought it was a sign, so he decided to name his upcoming album "Black Panties".

I was thinking the same thing. If this is true then we'd have this as a title track by now:

The garbage computer I'm using won't let me watch videos, but I can guess by the song titles, and the words 'Black Panties' that I probably wouldn't be interested anyway..
