lol Urgghhh. I played the shit one time and it's been sitting in its case ever since, collecting dust. I would sell it at this used record store in my city, but they would probably only give me $2 for it, and that would be after they finish laughing at me. disbelief

That's actually not even her worse album lol

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Since I started this I might answer my own damn self:

For Your Entertainment (honestly it wasn't because of the Lisa Frank cover lol )

Although the quality of the songs are not high, you can at lest listen to great vocals ..... but what can I do with it? lol

Actually, I rarely buy albums (in our country 90% of the music - piracy, music industry turnover is very low, although a population of about 50 million people ---- all download music for free blackeye ), so I rarely disappointed. Buy only albums that I already enjoy or collect albums of favorite artists. I have no more than 100 CD as a whole.

I never understood the insane levels of critical hype he got. I've only heard a handful of his songs but it seems to me that he takes gimself much too seriously.

One regrettable purchase that springs immediately to mind is the first Killers album. I don't know what I was thinking, I didn't even like the big single!

Just Piss Play - Aerosmith

Dogshit in the Doorway - Mick Jagger

Ok Computer - Radiohead (great album, just not my thing)

Homogenic - Björk (same as Radiohead)

Seeger Sessions - Springsteen (hated half of the album, just plain overrated)

Never Let Me Down & Tonight - Bowie (hardcore fan, but there's a limit, lol)

Pilgrim - Clapton (bland and full of filler, a couple of gems, though)

From the Cradle - Clapton (proof that "covers" albums are always unessential, just can't match the original classics)

American Life - Madonna (depressing and cynical, and repetitive)

Hard Candy - Madonna (buff, it was a guilty pleasure for a couple of months, until I realized how unessential/bad it is...)

All That You Can't Leave Behind - U2 (bland bland bland and overrated as hell, and just plain poppy/adult contemporary; I didn't like "Beautiful Day" to begin with, but finally I was "forced" to like it when everybody said that I was deaf and that the song was marvelous, a new classic, blah blah blah; but the album was full of similar "epic" ballads with preachy lyrics, or tender moments, like a f Crosby album; Atomic Bomb and Horizon were huge improvements in my opinion)

Anything by Jay-Z after Reasonable Doubt.

Anything by Mary J. Blige after Share My World.

Anything by Prince after....well, I still buy all his official releases but...you know. neutral

Corinne Rae Bailey or whatever her name is...bought the album after listening to 1 or 2 songs on the radio...absolutely not my kind of music.

Anything by Jill Scott after her second album. Bores me to no end, and I really liked the first two albums.

Maxwell´s NOW album. Kind of lost interest in him after that one. A couple of good songs on it but it lacks the cohesiveness and concept of his masterpieces Urban Hang Suite and Embrya. And he shouldn´t have changed a winning team. ( Matthewman and the other guys from his first two albums contributed a lot to his unique sound.)

I rarely buy music these days. Either I´m too old or the music is too sketchy and has very little replay value, or both.

I bought Erykah Badu´s last two albums and while they´re still kind of OK, I barely listen to them. I still listen to her first three albums though. The latter ones are too sketchy, too unfocused and too superficial but she hasn´t lost me yet and probably never will. But I wish she´d go back to being a bit more focused and less self absorbed. That lady is very creative and talented and makes me feel good. I don´t regret buying her last two releases but they´re just not as strong as her older material.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I've never regretted buying any Prince album, and at the risk of sounding like a 'koolaid drinker', you all have no taste. He's a consistently great musician and composer.

Also, Born This Way was LG's best album... by far.

Usher's "Here I Stand" and R.'s "Untitled" were pretty damn bad, but luckily I didn't buy either. Usher was only good for 8701 and Confessions; and R. Kelly was only really great for 'R.'.

I don't think I have regretted bying any music I have, everything I have ever bought (music wise) has been for a reason. Looking back, some of the music I have in my collection now belongs in the bucket of piss section, but I have no regrets.

I mean, I think Sigue Sigue Sputnik are one of the best groups ever for fuck sake.

Nowadays, if I fancy an album, I will nab a download of it first, and if I think it's the bollocks then I will purchase the cd, unless it's one of my fav artists/bands, then I will purchase the cd like a demented lovesick puppy regardless.

If I had regrets, I ended up selling it or trading it years ago. But in the late 90's, I mostly stuck to r&b and hip hop though I bought older CD's of the genre too from MJ, Janet and so forth. I was ignoring exploring rock, adult alternative and industrial and putting it down based on singles I knew even if I somewhat liked what I heard, and now I'll find myself listening to that stuff I missed out on more than what I listened to back then though if I hear some of the r&b/hip hop, I feel like I'm in high school again, but with other songs, I'm like WTF is this crap and why did I buy it , especially if I prefer the original songs that were sampled to the remakes. I had P.Diddy's first CD but gave it away eventually though I used to think it was great for example....and I had Britney's first two CD's though I lost one, and destroyed the other cause I hated her by then lol

Metallica - Load (I quite liked Reload though)
Aerosmith - Pump (sounds too desperate and commercial for me)
Velvet Revolver - Liberturd (loved their debut, but this was utter wank)
Slash's Snakepit - It's 5 O Clock Somewhere (I'm not a hater - I loved his solo album, but this is rubbish)
Prince - 3121 (his worst album)
Michael Jackson - Michael (what a disgraceful posthumous album this was, three fake songs = EPIC FAIL)
Anything by Iron Maiden - I tried getting into them, but I weren't feeling it.
Anything by Motley Crue - what was I thinking?

I don't like the term epic fail....but epic DID fail, get it? lol I somewhat like Michael, but I don't love it and it doesn't give me a jolt like the other albums. I would rather have old, rotting weed than say I like it as a whole.

I remember my cousin gave me a hard time about buying Kris Kross's third album when they lost their baby voices lol And I still have the Sisqo CD's, NO ONE wanted to buy or trade for them and blamed it on a scratch lol

Like Faking News yes. Not knowing whether it's him or not, though I knew it wasn't and had to admit it was like having him die all over again, cause I know his voice like the back of my hand and it felt like mind games when it was all going on you know.

I can dig it though, there's no grey area when it comes to that album, I've talked with people who either love it or hate it.

I fall under the former category btw, I'm still sad that its a one time project.
