What are some of the music you bought that you regret now?

Inspired by Imago's fail of a thread about Adam Lambert, do any of you have any albums that you bought that you now regret?

Tell me the choices you've since regretted here. lol

I still have it, but I haven't listened to Carmen Electra's album since it first came out. I usually don't throw stuff away, but I took one of those so-called Tears For Fears albums (aka Roland Orzalbal solo album with no Curt Smith) to a record store for credit. lol I think it was called Elemental or something. People have given me stuff that I don't listen to though.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Since I started this I might answer my own damn self:

For Your Entertainment (honestly it wasn't because of the Lisa Frank cover lol )

Born This Way (though there were some good songs, the bad outweighed the good neutral)

Infest by Papa Roach (bought it simply for "My Last Resort" but I ended up hating that and the album itself)

Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (smh)

Devil Without a Cause (I tried to like the entire album because of "Bawitidaba" and "God Knows Why" but I got tired of it and after another listen threw it out)

Get Rich or Die Trying (mainly bought it because I couldn't stand Ja Rule but I couldn't stand Fiddy after it)

20 Y.O. (the only Janet purchase I regret buying)

No regrets now but at the time of purchase...

Daryl Hall & John Oates - Big Bam Boom

janet.

Chic - Real People

Chic - Take It Off

Chaka Khan - Come 2 My House

The Evolution of Robin Thicke (ok...this one I still regret)

There are others but I'm not counting the stuff I paid $1 or less for or the selections I got for a penny from the Columbia House Record and Tape Club.

The Mars Volta are okay but don't give up on prog rock just yet.

Check out the Mahavishnu Orchestra - John McLaughlin played with

Miles Davis.

My statement came out wrong. I have nothing against prog rock itself, but its specifically Mars Volta..they are claimed to be new prog rock but nah..to me its sounds like a bunch of bullshit noise thats almost unbearable.

It was this rapper name MIMS one of the worst albums I ever heard. This year I think maybe Young Jeezy and Yelawolf. Curiosity killed the cat.

Timmy i had all these albums except FYE & yes... huge mistake! first off i disgustingly hate HATE HATE HATE HATE limp gayness lol

I liked half of Devil.... but some of it was like neutral

Get rich has great production but after listening last year, sex, weed, party, sex, weed, party yawn

Born This Way has a few good songs but a rather blah album compared to Fame Monster

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

When i was younger i made some bad choices, get ready to judge me lol

Hinder- Extreme Behavior, One of the wost watered down rock albums i ever heard AWFUL

Usher- Here I Stand, I was ONCE an Usher fan and liked Confessions... Only song i liked on here was Moving Mountains, and Usher has been on a downfall ever since.

Poison- Look What The Cat Draged In, Bret gets on my nerves now... Poison was such an ''of it's time

'' cheesy metal band. The songs now make me cringe

Garth Brooks- Greatest Hits, Never again lol

Grateful Dead- American Beauty, I see the musicianship... but this to me is silly stoner music, with

boring and bland solos over & over that sound the same.

Beyonce- Dangerously In Love, What a BORING album. I once had hope for this girl.. this album almost put me to sleep

50 Cent- Get Rich Or Die Trying, 50 was just so cool when i was younger... but then i grew up wink

R. Kelly- Untitled, Kells worst, what a piece of shit album this was! i returned it after 3 listens lol

Goatwhore- A Haunting Curse, SCREAMO NONSENSE razz

Dragonforce- Inhuman Rage, Mindless solos on Dungeons & Dragons lyrics

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I still kick myself over and over about Diamonds and Pearls. I am just so damn embarassed that I tried so hard to believe. Typhoon hairdo - FAIL disbelief

Lotusflower is also a $5 regret of mine. It's not about the money, it's about self-respect.

lol Urgghhh. I played the shit one time and it's been sitting in its case ever since, collecting dust. I would sell it at this used record store in my city, but they would probably only give me $2 for it, and that would be after they finish laughing at me. disbelief
