Your top 10 favorite singing voices Not the best or the greatest ... just our favorite!
1. Freddie Mercury (I consider him the best, too) 10. Adam Lambert (I'm not a fan of his music, but damn, the guy has an incredibly beautiful and powerful voice, it was love at first sound)
3-6 - almost an equal voices for me, their sequence is constantly changing. [Edited 12/29/11 17:40pm]

Prince sings great sometimes, but poorly most of the time; and I don't understand Paul McCartney getting mentioned twice, but not one mention of John Lennon or George Harrison. Honestly, I think Paul's voice is kinda nasty - I don't like a lot of his slow songs just because he doesn't have a nice voice (imo), like on "Yesterday" and "Mother Nature's Son" - both are great songs, but I prefer to listen to Elvis Presley (Yesterday) or Harry Nilsson (Mother Nature's Son) sing them. I like Prince and I even like his singing however I would never place him in a TOP 10 greatest vocalist or singer of all time list.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
But this is a list of favorite, but not the greatest singers (otherwise my list would be a little different, too, that something like this: 1. Freddie Mercury. 2. Robert Plant . 3. Steve Perry. 4. Elvis Presley. 5. Aretha Franklin. 6. George Michael . 7. Michael Jackson. 8. Sam Cooke. 9. Klaus Meine. 10. Stevie Wonder)
But come on, singing has never been his main advantage or strengths. He's a great musician - instrumentalist and in this sense can easily beat 90% of people from each list here. [Edited 12/30/11 10:16am]
