I think Reverend Green cut the finest R&B albums in the 70s.

this is 1 of my all-time favorite Rev Al tracks.

at the risk of using a cliché,

I really can feel that he is "tired of being alone"

& I love how he "gets high" when he phrases

"show me where it's AAAAAAAATTTTT.. baby.."

I've seen/gotten some nice video performances of this.

like most Al Green songs - once he's done a song, it's HIS.

forever

I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Teena Marie once said that this is the song that inspired her to become a singer. She heard it on the radio when she was a child and she just fell in love with it.

Al green songs get better and better every year. While all music ever recorded sounds dated over time , somehow Al's songs defy time. They sound fresher every time.
